No Kings Rally, Tories, Russia

This past Saturday millions of Americans participated in the “No Kings” rally and millions upon millions more supported them.  The participants and their supporters across all 50 states are protesting Trump policies.  But more important, they and all of us are protesting a man who wants to become a dictator along with all of his supporters.  

So what did the supporters Trump do?  The called it a “hate America” rally.  The Speaker of the House said the those who participate in the rally hate America.  

I saw a reel of commentators from a news network that rhymes with ox, but the commentators seem to be less intelligent or thoughtful than an ox.  Anyway the reel also said the participants hate America.  That is not true, it is a lie.  

The protestors are there because the love America and our American democracy which Trump and MAGA Republicans are trying to destroy.  There is no doubt the founding fathers would have been with the protestors.  How do I know this?  Because they literally fought a war to break away from a King.  And also the wrote the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights which guarantee American rights and freedoms.

A point of history.  Before and during the Revolutionary War many colonists supported the King and Great Britain.  They were called Loyalists or Tories.  After the war, many of them went to Canada.  Since Canada is no longer an option for Trump supporters, I would suggest Russia.  I hear its especially nice this time of the year.   In fact, Trump supporters please leave now and beat the rush.  You [Trump supporters] do not believe in democracy, equality, diversity, freedom of speech, separation of church and state, education, health care for all, etc.  You will fit right in Russia.

Because this is really what the Rally was about.  It was led by Americans who accept and honor the American ideals of democracy, freedom of speech, equality, diversity and all the other American ideals.  Trump does not believe in American ideals and neither do his supporters.  Instead of trying to turn America into a dictatorship, would it not be easier for Trump and his supporters to move to place that already has one.  Trump will be made welcome by his best buddy Putin, and I sure the rest of his supporters will find a place to call home.

In fact, beat the rush, go now.  For Trump supporters who do not have any money, open a “go fund me” account.  That is what Trump and Republicans believe is the answer to health care, I suspect there will be lots of contributors helping you leave.

The reality is it is not the participants in the “No Kings Rally” who hate America.  It’s those who called it a hate America rally.   Trumpers are today’s Tories.  There are places who have pretend democracies and are really dictatorships with a king, Russia being one of them.  Go to one of them, I am sure you will fit right in.

And when you leave.  Don’t call us, we’ll call you.
